Eni makes major oil discovery offshore Ghana

  • Eni (E) says it has made a significant oil and gas discovery on the Eban exploration prospect in CTP Block 4 offshore Ghana.
  • According to preliminary estimates, Eni says the Eban-Akoma complex has potential reserves of 500M-700M boe.
  • The company says the well is the second drilled in the block, following the Akoma discovery.

    For this year the company, located in Rome revenue will be around 64.09 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is hugely more than 2021's revenue of 43.99 billion euros.

    The analysts expect for 2021 a net profit of 2.83 billion euros. For this year the consensus of Eni 's result per share is a profit of 77 cent. The PE-ratio therefore is 12.34.

    Huge dividend Eni

    For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 72 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 7.58 percent. The average dividend yield of the oil & gas producers is an attractive 3.08 percent.

    Eni 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 33.95 billion euros. 12
