Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Increasing Partnerships in Autonomous Cars Industry

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is constantly looking to diversify its revenue streams. The company recently announced to partner with China-based Baidu Inc (ADR)(NASDAQ:BIDU) after which it will provide Azure Cloud services for Baidu ’s self-driving platform Apollo Group . Apollo Group ’s is China’s best autonomous cars software, currently used by FAW, Ford, Diamler, Great Wall Motors and Bosch. This is another attempt by Microsoft to improve its game in the $7 trillion market of autonomous cars.

Microsoft also has a partnership with car marker Harman according to which Harman cars systems provide Office apps to its users for increasing productivity on the go.

Based on the analysts' consensus: both the revenue and the net result would be the highest in years. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 104,32 billion Dollar (consensus estimates). The expected revenue would be the highest in her history. This is quite more than 2016's revenue of 89,95 billion Dollar.
