GM's Cruise acquires autonomous vehicle player Voyage

GM expands self-driving capacity

  • General Motors ' Cruise unit has acquired self-driving startup Voyage for an undisclosed amount.
  • Cruise's engineering and software capabilities is expected to be combined with Voyage's targeted markets of retirement communities and college campuses.

    For this year General Motors 's revenue will be around 139.7 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is hugely more than 2020's revenue of 122.49 billion USD.

    The analysts expect for 2021 a net profit of 7.63 billion USD. Most of the analysts anticipate on a profit per share of 5.18 USD. The price/earnings-ratio therefore equals 11.55.

    Analysts expect a dividend of 73 cents per share. The dividend yield is then 1.22 percent. The average dividend yield of the automobile producers equals a moderate 1.36 percent.
