Tomorrow the Belgian company Galapagos will publish its past quarters results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 236,97 million euros (consensus estimates). This is hugely lower than 2018's revenue of 317,85 million euros.
The analysts expect for 2019 a net loss of 207 million euros. Most of the analysts anticipate on a loss per share of 4,08 euros. The PE-ratio therefore is -39,67.
Analysts don't expect the company to pay a dividend. The average dividend yield of the biotech companies is a limited 0,5 percent.
Galapagos's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 8,24 billion euros. The Galapagos stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last July the stock is even 74 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 74 and 171 euro.At 11.50 the stock trades 0,8 percent higher at 161,85 euros.
