Analysts foresee less revenue Aegon, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the Dutch Aegon will publish its past quarters figures. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 23,12 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2017's revenue of 57,81 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 1,43 billion euros. For this year the consensus of the result per share is a profit of 67 cent. The price/earnings-ratio is then 6,85.

Huge dividend Aegon

For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 0,28 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 6,1 percent. The average dividend yield of the insurers equals a limited 1 percent.

Newest target prices around 5 euros

The most recent recommendations for the insurer are from Jefferies & Co., Barclays and Credit Suisse.

Aegon's market value equals around 9,3 billion . The Aegon stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last February the stock is 10 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 4 and 6 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 16 percent higher.

At 9.54 the stock trades 0,31 percent higher at 4,59 euros.
