Analysts count on sales decrease Aegon, high dividend yield

Tomorrow the Dutch Aegon will publish its past quarters figures. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 21,86 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2019's revenue of 67,49 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 1,25 billion euros. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 60 cent. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 5.

Huge dividend Aegon

Per share the analysts anticipate on a dividend of 0,3 cents per share. The dividend yield is then 10 percent. The average dividend yield of the insurers equals a low 0 percent.

Newest target prices around 3 euros

Oddo Seydler Bank, Exane BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank recently provided recommendations for the stock.

Aegon's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 6,09 billion euros. The Aegon stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last August the stock is 13 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 2 and 4 euro.
