Analysts: less sales Unilever, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the Dutch Unilever will report its past quarter's results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 52,66 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly lower than 2016's revenue of 53,72 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 6,4 billion euros. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 2,35 euros. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 19,68.

For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 1,53 euros per share. Unilever 's dividend yield thus equals 3,31 percent. The average dividend yield of the food producers equals a low 1 percent.
