Unilever in top Dutch dividend returns

Investors in Unilever can expect a huge dividend payment. Based on the recent analysts' consensus the stock now has one of the highest dividend returns of the Dutch market. For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 1,67 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 3,51 percent. The average dividend yield of the food producers is a poor 0,36 percent.

Tomorrow the Dutch Unilever will report its past quarters results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 50,75 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly lower than 2019's revenue of 51,98 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 6,31 billion euros. For this year the consensus of the result per share is a profit of 2,43 euros. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 19,56.

The most recent recommendations for the food producer are from HSBC, ABN AMRO and Bryan Garnier.

Unilever's market capitalization is around 69 billion euros. The Unilever stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last July the stock is 10 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 38 and 58 euro.
