Hundreds of Apple’s $1,000 iPhone X users cannot take calls

Every time Apple releases its latest smartphones, everyone is willing to wait in a long line to get it. Apple ’s iPhone X is the latest product that attracted lots of people when it was launched in 2017.

But, despite its $1,000 price, iPhone X has been receiving many complaints from its users. Ironically, most users has problems when taking calls from their devices.

A user described that despite the fact that the ringtone starts, the incoming calls notification comes up on screens after 6-8 seconds.

“Whenever i receive an incoming call in my iphone x , ringtones starts but the display comes in after 6-8 seconds. Whenever i restart my iphone x the problems gets automatically solved and after 15-20 calls the same problem starts again”, a consumer stated to Fortune.com.

Another story came from another user who couldn’t see the incoming calls on iPhone X screens. Despite upgrading the operation system, the same problem persists.

Apple said it would look into those reports. The company has yet to provide any details related to those complaints.

Will the sales of iPhone X decrease this year?

Apple ’s iPhone X offers a more secure feature that enables users to unlock their device by looking at its screen. A report from Canalys, Apple shipped 29 million iPhone X units in the December quarter.

In the last quarter of 2017, the sales of iPhone X reached 77.3 million units. The figure, however, was lower than the company’s iPhone sales in the same period in 2016.

The decline in sales forced Apple to cut its iPhone X production in the first quarter of 2018, as Nikkei repoted. The smartphone giants is planning to halve its iPhone X output from 40 million units to 20 million units.

Apple will not revise the production of other types of smartphones such as iPhone8 Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 (30 millions).
