KKR & Co. Increases Dividend 7 Percent Due to Strong Earnings

KKR & Co. Inc. is a major global investment company that is specialized in offering capital markets and insurance solutions as well as alternative asset management. Since the beginning of 2021, KKR & Co. Inc. had completed over 375 private equity investments in portfolio companies, to the tune of over $650 billion in total transaction value.

Almost 41 percent of the company’s revenue was generated from carried interest, 23 percent from management fees, 22.5 percent from transaction fees and the rest from GP capital interest monitoring fees expense reimbursements, and various other fees in 2020. In 2021, KKR & Co. reported strong 1st quarter growth, more precisely $4.56 billion in revenue, while the company’s fee-related earnings rose by 41.1 percent to $363.8 million, and non-GAAP earnings of 75 cents, which is 11 cents over consensus estimates. Assets under management also rose to $288 billion by the end of the 1st quarter, from $186 billion at the end of 2020.

According to market analysts, KKR & Co. Inc. has strong prospects over the coming quarters, and the private equity firm’s price target on the stock was recently raised by Credit Suisse , citing the strong first quarter financial results.

The same goes for Deutsche Bank , which also raised its estimates based on “good” Q1 figures. KKR & Co. raised its quarterly dividend to $0.145 per share, by 7.4 percent respectively, which makes for a 1.01% forward yield. Dividends are payable on June 1, 2021 to shareholders on record as of May 17, 2021.
