Nestlé to sell Nestlé Waters North America Brands in $4.3B deal

  • Nestlé (OTCPK:NSRGY) agrees to sell its regional spring water brands, purified water business and beverage delivery service in the U.S. and Canada to One Rock Capital Partners in partnership with Metropoulos & Co. for $4.3B.
  • The company says its international premium brands including Perrier, S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna are not part of the deal.
  • But the sale does include brands such as Poland Spring and Ice Mountain, whose 2019 sales in the U.S. and Canada totaled ~3.4B Swiss franc ($3.81B).
  • The deal follows Nestlé's announcement last year that it would conduct a strategic review of parts of the North American waters division.
