Analysts: less sales Chevron, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the American Chevron will publish its past quarter figures. Over the current book year the total revenue from the company in San Ramon will be 101,04 billion USD (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2019's revenue of 140,16 billion USD.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net loss of 1,11 billion USD. For this year the consensus of Chevron 's result per share is a loss of 48 cent. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is -139,33.

Huge dividend Chevron

Despite the expected loss the company will probably pay a dividend. For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 5,15 USD per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 7,7 percent. The average dividend yield of the oil & gas producers equals a moderate 0,56 percent.
