Analysts count on sales decrease Proximus, huge dividend

Tomorrow the Belgian Proximus will publish its past quarters figures. For this year Proximus's revenue will be around 5,54 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly lower than 2019's revenue of 5,64 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 510 million euros. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 1,58 euros. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 11,25.

Huge dividend Proximus

For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 1,24 euros per share. Proximus's dividend yield thus equals 6,98 percent. The average dividend yield of the telecommunications companies is a relatively high 2,37 percent.

Proximus's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 5,73 billion euros. The Proximus stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last July the stock is 26 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 16 and 28 euro.
