Extreme dividend yield Proximus

Investors in Proximus can expect a huge dividend payment. Based on the recent analysts' consensus the stock now has one of the highest dividend returns of the Belgian market. For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 1,5 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 6,01 percent. The average dividend yield of the telecommunications companies equals an attractive 2 percent.

Proximus's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 8,05 billion euros. The Proximus stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last May the stock is 4 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 19 and 27 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 13 percent higher.
