Analysts expect over 2020 decreasing revenue Volkswagen

Tomorrow the German Volkswagen will publish its past quarters figures. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 222,52 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2018's revenue of 252,63 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 6,17 billion euros. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 12,46 euros. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 10,67.

Per share the analysts anticipate on a dividend of 2,9 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 2,18 percent. The average dividend yield of the automobile producers is a good 6,87 percent.

Most recent target prices around 133 euros

The most recent recommendations for the automobile producer are from UBS, Citigroup and JP Morgan.

Based on the current number of outstanding shares Volkswagen's market capitalization 27,4 billion euros. The Volkswagen stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last April the stock is 15 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 99 and 185 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 90 percent higher.
