Analysts expect over 2020 rising revenue Lufthansa, relatively high dividend

Tomorrow the German company Lufthansa will publish its past quarter results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 37,07 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly more than 2018's revenue of 35,84 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 1,29 billion euros. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 2,65 euros. The PE-ratio therefore is 3,37.

Huge dividend Lufthansa

For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 0,76 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 8,51 percent. The average dividend yield of the airline companies equals a limited 1,08 percent.

Recent target prices around 15 euros

The most recent recommendations for the airline company are from Societe Generale, Credit Suisse and HSBC.

Based on the current number of shares Lufthansa's market capitalization equals 4,21 billion euros. The Lufthansa stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last March the stock is 55 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 8 and 23 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 26 percent higher.
