Analysts expect over 2020 decreasing revenue HSBC, quite high dividend

HSBC will announce it's last quarter's results tomorrow. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 55,14 billion GBp (consensus estimates). This is hugely lower than 2018's revenue of 71,13 billion GBp.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 14,16 billion GBp. For this year the consensus of the result per share is a profit of 70 GBp. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 8,35.

Huge dividend HSBC

Analysts expect a dividend of 51 GBp per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 8,73 percent. The average dividend yield of the banks is an attractive 3,55218264533886 percent.

Latest estimates around 698 GBp

JP Morgan, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs recently provided recommendations for the stock.

HSBC's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 11687,34 billion GBp. The HSBC stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last February the stock is 6 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 551 and 688 GBp. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 14 percent higher.
