Analysts: less sales Persimmon, high dividend yield

Tomorrow the English Persimmon will report its past quarters results. For this year Persimmon's revenue will be around 3,62 billion GBp. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly lower than 2018's revenue of 3,74 billion GBp.

The analysts expect for 2019 a net profit of 859 million GBp. For this year most of the analysts expect a profit per share of 272 GBp. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 6,77.

Per share the analysts expect a dividend of 236 GBp per share. The dividend yield is then 12,82 percent. The average dividend yield of the real estate companies is an attractive 3 percent.

Persimmon's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 568,6 billion GBp. The Persimmon stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last August the stock is 17 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 1820 and 2505 GBp.
