Analysts foresee less revenue Ageas, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the Belgian Ageas will report its past quarters results. For this year Ageas 's revenue will be around 10,62 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is rather significant lower than 2017's revenue of 12,14 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 821 million euros. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 4,09 euros. The price/earnings-ratio is then 10,93.

Huge dividend Ageas

For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 2,16 euros per share. The dividend yield is then 4,83 percent. The average dividend yield of the insurers equals a moderate 1 percent.

The most recent recommendations for the insurer are from ABN AMRO, Credit Suisse and Kepler Capital Markets.

Ageas 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 9,18 billion euros. The Ageas stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last November the stock is 16 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 40 and 47 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 442 percent higher.

On Monday the stock closed at 44,72 euros.
