Home Depot ’s same-store sales increased by 26% in the quarter, as shoppers continue to spend more on their home improvement projects. Analysts think that a strong housing market will keep pushing Home Depot sales up.
For this year Home Depot 's revenue will be around 108,29 billion USD. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly more than 2017's revenue of 100,9 billion USD.
The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 10,96 billion USD. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 9,56 USD. The price/earnings-ratio therefore equals 21.
Per share the analysts expect a dividend of 4,1 USD per share. The dividend yield is then 2,04 percent. The average dividend yield of the general retailers equals a low 1 percent.
Home Depot 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 241,53 billion USD. Home Depot stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last September the stock is even 36 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 150 and 208 dollar. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 603 percent higher.
