How renting appliances in Delhi works

1. Select Delhi on rentomojo.com or the app, choose the appliance and a tenure from three to 36 months.
2. Complete KYC with a PAN card and a selfie and pay a refundable deposit equal to one month's rent.
3. Book delivery. Delivery and installation are free, and an AC is installed within three to five days of delivery.
4. Raise repair requests from the app. Rentomojo states a technician visit within 72 hours and a replacement if the appliance cannot be repaired.
5. Close, relocate or upgrade the appliance from the app during the tenure.

What appliances cost to own against to rent

A 190-litre single-door refrigerator costs ₹15,000 to ₹22,000 new on price-comparison listings in October 2026, a semi-automatic washing machine about ₹12,000 and a 32-inch smart TV about ₹20,000. On Rentomojo the three rent for about ₹1,642 a month together, and cumulative rent passes the ₹47,000 purchase in month 29. An owner pays for compressor, motor and panel repairs once the warranty ends; on rent, those repairs are included. Appliance rental converts an unpredictable repair-and-depreciation liability into a fixed monthly charge.
