BEIJING, Sept. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services will open in Beijing on September 9. As the first national-level comprehensive services trade fair in the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the theme exhibition has for the first time established a dedicated China Service Case Exhibition Zone in its core area, serving as a window to observe the development and achievements of "China Services."
According to Piao Xuedong, Director of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, The China Service Case Exhibition Zone has collected over 140 cases covering 12 major service trade sectors from more than 20 provinces, 4 municipalities directly under the central government, 5 autonomous regions, and central enterprises as well as centrally managed Financial Institutions .
This year's CIFTIS will focus on the three core functions of "expanding openness, deepening cooperation, and leading innovation," promoting more "Chinese services" to go global.
At this year's CIFTIS, a series of highly anticipated events are set to take place: over 1,830 companies will exhibit on-site at the Shougang Park, including 473 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading enterprises.
