Analysts expect over 2021 rising revenue BASF, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the German company BASF will publish its past quarter results. Over the current book year the company from Ludwigshafen Am Rhein's total revenue could be around 62.89 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly more than 2020's revenue of 59.15 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2021 a net profit of 3.84 billion euros. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a profit per share of 4.25 euros. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 16.72.

Huge dividend BASF

Analysts expect a dividend of 3.36 euros per share. The dividend yield is then 4.73 percent. The average dividend yield of the chemical companies is a relatively high 1.75 percent.

Latest estimates around 72 euros

Morgan Stanley , HSBC and Kepler Capital Markets recently provided recommendations for the stock.

BASF 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 65.28 billion euros. The BASF stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last April the stock is even 60 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 41 and 73 euro.
