Analysts expect over 2020 decreasing revenue BP, quite high dividend

Tomorrow the English company BP will publish its past quarter results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 197,82 billion GBp (consensus estimates). This is rather significant lower than 2019's revenue of 278,4 billion GBp.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net loss of 3,51 billion GBp. The majority of the analysts expects for this year a loss per share of 17 GBp. The price-earnings-ratio equals -12,09.

Huge dividend BP

Despite the expected loss the company will probably pay a dividend. Per share the analysts expect a dividend of 27 GBp per share. The dividend yield is then 13,14 percent. The average dividend yield of the oil & gas producers is a limited 0,26 percent.

BP's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 4130,39 billion GBp. The BP stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last October the stock is 57 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 195 and 522 GBp.
