Analysts expect over 2020 decreasing revenue Carrefour, huge dividend

Tomorrow the French Carrefour will report its past quarters results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 72,34 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly lower than 2019's revenue of 74,14 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 973 million euros. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 1,22 euros. The price/earnings-ratio is then 11,3.

Huge dividend Carrefour

Per share the analysts anticipate on a dividend of 0,45 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 3,27 percent. The average dividend yield of the food & drug retailers is a poor 0,6 percent.

Newest target prices around 16 euros

The most recent recommendations for the food & drug retailer are from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and KBC Securities.

Carrefour's market capitalization is around 10,75 billion euros. The Carrefour stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last July the stock is 22 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 12 and 18 euro.
