Analysts expect over 2020 rising revenue Iberdrola, quite high dividend

Tomorrow Iberdrola will publish its past quarters results. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 37,75 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly more than 2019's revenue of 36,44 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 3,56 billion euros. For this year the consensus of Iberdrola's result per share is a profit of 55 cent. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 20,49.

Huge dividend Iberdrola

Analysts expect a dividend of 0,4 cents per share. The dividend yield is then 3,55 percent. The average dividend yield of the energy companies is a limited 1,14 percent.

Iberdrola's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 74,4 billion euros. The Iberdrola stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last July the stock is even 40 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 8 and 12 euro.
