Analysts expect over 2020 rising revenue National Grid, huge dividend

Tomorrow the English National Grid will publish its past quarters figures. For this year National Grid's revenue will be around 15,3 billion GBp. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly more than 2018's revenue of 14,93 billion GBp.

The analysts expect for 2020 a net profit of 2,04 billion GBp. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 59 GBp. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 15,82.

Huge dividend National Grid

Analysts expect a dividend of 49 GBp per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 5,25 percent. The average dividend yield of the energy companies is an attractive 15,23 percent.

Most recent target prices around 1005 GBp

Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and JP Morgan recently provided recommendations for the stock.

National Grid's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 3132,03 billion GBp. The National Grid stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last June the stock is 13 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 789 and 1074 GBp. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 81 percent higher.
