DSM strong outperformer in the Netherlands

The past years DSM gained a lot in value. The past year the 10 year with a huge profit of 302 percent one of the best shares of the Netherlands. Since the start of this year, the average Dutch stock rose year approximately 132 percent in value. Other winners over the past 10 years are BE Semiconductor, ASML and Acomo.

Since 2012 the stock has a price gain of 90 percent. over the past 90 days the stock made a profit of 4 percent.

Over the current book year the total revenue will be 9,29 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is slightly more than 2017's revenue of 9,27 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2019 a net profit of 870 million euros. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 5,09 euros. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 19,28.

For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 2,4 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 2,45 percent. The average dividend yield of the chemical companies is an attractive 3 percent.

Latest estimates around 110 euros

Kepler Capital Markets, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse recently provided recommendations for the stock.

DSM's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 17,17 billion euros. The DSM stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last May the stock is 17 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 68 and 105 euro.
