Analysts expect over 2018 rising revenue Bayer, high dividend yield

Tomorrow the German company Bayer will publish its past quarter results. For this year Bayer's revenue will be around 39,66 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is rather significant more than 2017's revenue of 35,02 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 5,31 billion euros. For this year most of the analysts expect a profit per share of 5,89 euros. The price/earnings-ratio is then 11,36.

Huge dividend Bayer

For this year the analysts expect a dividend of 2,8 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 4,18 percent. The average dividend yield of the chemical companies is a limited 1 percent.

Newest target prices around 79 euros

The most recent recommendations for the chemical company are from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, Barclays and JP Morgan.

Bayer's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 56,24 billion euros. The Bayer stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last February the stock is 29 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 58 and 104 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 76 percent higher.

At 9.40 the stock trades 0,37 percent lower at 66,93 euros.
