Analysts expect over 2018 decreasing revenue Pearson

Tomorrow the English Pearson will report its past quarters results. For this year Pearson's revenue will be around 4,21 billion GBp. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly lower than 2017's revenue of 4,51 billion GBp.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 508 million GBp. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 64 GBp. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 13,94.

For this year most of the analysts expect a dividend of 20 GBp per share. Pearson's dividend yield thus equals 2,24 percent. The average dividend yield of the publishers equals a moderate 1 percent.

Pearson's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 726,78 billion GBp. The Pearson stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last February the stock is even 30 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 687 and 1030 GBp. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 40 percent higher.

At 16.10 the stock trades 0,43 percent lower at 892,4 GBp.
