Analysts expect over 2018 rising revenue Continental, high dividend yield

Tomorrow the German Continental will publish its past quarters figures. For this year Continental's revenue will be around 44,61 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is slightly more than 2017's revenue of 44,01 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 2,81 billion euros. For this year the consensus of Continental's result per share is a profit of 14,17 euros. So the price/earnings-ratio equals 9,11.

Huge dividend Continental

Per share the analysts are expecting a dividend of 4,44 euros per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 3,44 percent. The average dividend yield of the automobile companies equals a poor 1 percent.

Most recent target prices around 185 euros

HSBC, Goldman Sachs and M.M. Warburg & Co. recently provided recommendations for the stock.

Based on the current number of shares Continental's market capitalization equals 25,83 billion euros. The Continental stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last January the stock is 46 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 118 and 251 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 348 percent higher.

At 10.15 the stock trades 1,39 percent lower at 129,15 euros.
