Bayer tops many buy lists

It seems Bayer's stock trades with a discount. Most of the analysts say Bayer is cheap at this level. Currently the company is being followed by 20 researchers. The recommendations spread over: no sells, 8 times hold and no buys. The average of the current target prices for the stock equals 102,1 euros. This is around 47 percent more than the current price of 69,94 euros. The most recent recommendations for the chemical company are from Goldman Sachs , Sanford C. Bernstein & Co and Berenberg.

Estimates for Bayer wide spread

Bayer's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 58,77 billion euros. The Bayer stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last November the stock is 37 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 65 and 115 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 59 percent higher.
