Investors in KPN can expect a huge dividend payment. Based on the recent analysts' consensus the stock now has one of the highest dividend returns of the Dutch market. Per share the analysts expect a dividend of 0,13 cents per share. The dividend yield is then 5,49 percent. The average dividend yield of the telecommunications companies equals a good 2 percent.
Tomorrow the Dutch KPN will publish its past quarter's figures. Over the current book year the total revenue will be 5,76 billion euros (consensus estimates). This is quite lower than 2017's revenue of 6,5 billion euros.
The analysts expect for 2018 a net profit of 467 million euros. For this year the majority of the analysts, consulted by press agency Thomson Reuters, expects a profit per share of 11 cent. The PE-ratio therefore is 21,55.
KPN 's market capitalization is based on the number of outstanding shares around 10,11 billion euros. The KPN stock was the past 12 months quite volatile. Since last October the stock is 17 percent lower. This year the stock price moved between 2 and 3 euro. Since 2008 the stock price is almost 59 percent lower.
