HELMA Eigenheimbau AG: AGM approves dividend of EUR 1.30 per share for 2018 / Re-election of Supervisory Board members / Early extension of contract of Management Board member Max Bode

Lehrte, July 5, 2019 - The Ordinary AGM of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, which was held today at the company's headquarter in Lehrte, followed the management's proposal and approved the payment of a dividend of EUR 1.30 per share for the 2018 financial year. Accordingly, with the distribution of almost 50 % of the net profit of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG as reported on the basis of financial accounting principles according to the German Commercial Code (HGB), the shareholders participate tangibly in the company's success. All other agenda items were also approved by a large majority.

Karl-Heinz Maerzke, Sven Aßmann, Paul Morzynski, and Dr. Peter Plathe were re-elected to the company's Supervisory Board. The appointments are made for a term of office until the end of the Annual General Meeting which approves the discharge for the 2023 financial year. At its subsequent meeting, the Supervisory Board elected Karl-Heinz Maerzke to be its Chairman and Sven Aßmann to be its Deputy Chairman.

In addition, the Supervisory Board passed a resolution to implement an early extension of the contract of Max Bode as a member of the Management Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau for a further three years until June 30, 2023. "As a member of the Management Board, with particular responsibility for the areas of land purchasing, marketing, and sales, Mr. Bode has played a key role in the successful development of the HELMA Group in recent years," notes Karl-Heinz Maerzke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HELMA Eigenheimbau AG.
