zPayments is now live on Base, bringing Zoth’s managed settlement desk into a platform for business payouts across supported corridors. Zoth currently processes $40M in monthly payment volume, approaching a $500M annualized run rate, with payouts settling in minutes and existing partners reducing costs by up to 80% compared with traditional rails.
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Zoth today scaled zPayments, its fully compliant, stablecoin-native cross-border settlement platform for businesses paying out in local currency across 171 countries. It now runs on the Base ecosystem, with USDC as its primary stablecoin. Additional chains and stablecoins will be added over time, extending coverage as the platform scales toward global reach.
At launch, zPayments already reaches the corridors most platforms treat as too hard, settling into local currency across the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman, and Southeast Asia, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, with USD coverage to 171 countries and further reach across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. Bank payouts are available in every market, and wallet payouts in selected few. New corridors go live in sequence, each opening only after it meets the platform's standard.
Businesses in sectors including Software AG services, commodity trading and fund distribution are increasingly using stablecoins for cross-border payments. However, converting those funds into local currency can still involve correspondent banks, foreign exchange fees and multiple intermediaries, which can add cost and delay settlement.
Managing payouts across several markets can also create additional operational work, with businesses often relying on different providers, compliance processes and reconciliation systems for each corridor.
zPayments brings these processes into a single platform. Compliance checks are handled through the platform, businesses receive a stated rate before a payment is sent, and settlement can be tracked through one system.
Across supported corridors, payments that can cost between three and six percent and take three to five business days through traditional cross-border rails can settle through zPayments in minutes and at 80% lower cost.
"The industry solved collection years ago and left the payout leg in the last century," said Pritam Dutta, Founder and CEO of Zoth. "We did not design zPayments in a spec. We ran these payouts manually, corridor by corridor, until we understood exactly what it takes to make cross-border compliance work. That is what we built into the platform. Compliance is the hard part, and it is the part we do for you."
zPayments is not a new product. It has settled for businesses as a managed desk for over a year, processing $40M a month and more than $500M to date, and now opens to a wider cohort.
“Stablecoins give businesses a global dollar, and Base gives them the rails to move it at internet speed,” says Antonio García Martínez, Head of Growth, Base. “Zoth is taking that one step further by connecting those onchain dollars to local payment systems across the world, which is how we go from moving money onchain to actually making the global financial system work onchain.”
Everything learned by settling these payouts by hand is now built into the platform. Every payout runs through Zoth’s compliance engine, with AML, CFT and Travel Rule checks completed on the platform, alongside corridor-specific documentation such as FIRC where applicable. Transactions are executed through licensed partners in each corridor, so the operational compliance burden is carried by the platform, not pushed onto the sender.
Every payout is quoted before execution through Zoth's embedded FX infrastructure. Businesses receive one stated rate before confirming a payment, with the final landed amount visible before the transaction is sent. Settlement is instant across supported corridors, and Next business day where the local rail clears on a cycle, with the cutoff stated up front. The platform also records each payout, status update and compliance file in one auditable ledger, reducing the need for teams to manage different providers, records and reconciliation systems across markets.
Getting started takes one KYB process. A business partner completes onboarding once, then runs payouts through the zPayments portal with real time status visibility at every stage. Zoth's compliance engine ensures they never chase support for a status update or manage the corridors themselves. What once required a dedicated Team per corridor now runs through the platform as a single upload.
"We were paying a Team across four countries through three different providers, reconciling each one by hand. Now it is a single upload, reconciled to one auditable ledger" said the CFO of a services firm using zPayments.
For businesses expanding across the Global South, payout infrastructure is becoming a strategic operating layer. Teams, vendors, contractors, distributors and counterparties need to be paid across markets where traditional rails often make pricing unclear, settlement slow and compliance difficult to manage.
zPayments is built for these corridors, bringing stated pricing, minutes-based settlement where supported, and end-to-end compliance execution into one platform.
With zPayments now live on Base, businesses can begin moving payouts across supported corridors, with existing partners already reducing costs by up to 80% compared with traditional rails.
