Zarak credits his military experience with teaching him to follow procedures, treat others with respect and do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Those lessons have helped him succeed both on the road and in life.

When he joined Dollar General Private Fleet, Zarak wanted an opportunity to provide for his family. He found that opportunity with a company that he believes cares about its people and communities. He takes pride in helping move the business forward while working for an organization committed to making a difference.

Zarak believes veterans are well-positioned for success because of the discipline, work ethic and structure they gain through military service. His advice to fellow veterans is simple: “Put those military skills to work. With dedication and effort, trucking can offer a rewarding career and a strong future for your family.”
