On August 12, 2026, Apollo determined that the information potentially impacted by the incident may have included personal information relating to affected individuals. Apollo confirmed the incident in a letter filed with the California Attorney General, and the company states it has no evidence that the information has been publicly posted or used for identity theft or fraud. Notification letters to affected individuals are dated August 21, 2026.

Information Exposed

According to the notice, the personal information potentially involved includes individuals’ names, dates of birth, contact information, home addresses, and Social Security numbers. Apollo's notice does not specifically identify whose personal information was affected, such as Apollo employees or individuals at companies it owns.
