Zurich, July 1st, 2025 – naoo AG (ISIN: CH1323306329, WKN: A40NNU), the operator of the unique social media app naoo, reports a positive economic development for its subsidiary Kingfluencers AG: In the first half of 2025, Kingfluencers achieved a positive operating cash flow again. Legacy liabilities from the 2024 financial year were recognized at CHF 1.2 million and are being covered by naoo AG.

With the already completed capital contribution of CHF 0.75 million, the majority of naoo AG's financial obligations from the Kingfluencers acquisition have been fulfilled. The remaining CHF 0.45 million will be contributed by the end of the year – after which the additional cash burden for naoo will be completely eliminated.

The rapid operational success of Kingfluencers is the result of a consistently implemented realignment. This realignment was launched in December 2024 as part of a performance program and rigorously executed under new management. It involved organizational and structural optimizations, with a strategic focus on the core business of influencer marketing and campaign management. The team size was reduced by around 15%, primarily in marketing and new services, while strategically important areas for future growth were simultaneously strengthened.

The move to new, centrally located office space enabled a roughly 15% reduction in office costs. A comprehensive project to reorganize administrative processes in finance, administration, and back-office was also initiated, in conjunction with ongoing digitalization. Expected cost savings in these areas amount to approximately 0.6 Mio. per year while transparency and control were simultaneously increased. 30–40% of the savings will already be visible in the current year.

In addition to cost optimizations, dynamic business development was another key driver of the economic turnaround. Notable revenue growth was achieved with several major clients, especially in consumer goods, grocery retail, and the food industry. Order intake in the first half of 2025 increased by 5.3% compared to the first half of 2024, reaching CHF 5.93 million.

The market environment in the DACH region is also showing strong momentum: According to the Influencer Marketing Benchmark Report 2025 by Influencer Marketing Hub, the market volume is expected to exceed EUR 1.3 billion for 2025 – with annual growth rates between 12% and 15%.

An additional growth lever lies in the realignment of the sales strategy. Until now, over 50% of companies with the largest advertising budgets in Switzerland had not been the focus of sales efforts. The sales team is now targeting exactly these customer segments. This indicates significant potential for further growth, through targeted customer acquisition and sustainable development of existing client relationships.

Chris Bitzer, CEO of Kingfluencers AG, explains:
“The operational turnaround is the result of hard work, clear priorities, and a determined team. We focused on our core business, eliminated unnecessary complexity, and executed with discipline. The fact that we are now operating cash flow-positive again while also continuing to build the trust of leading brands shows how solid our new foundation is.”

Gregor Doser, Managing Director DACH of naoo AG and Chief Commercial Officer of Kingfluencers AG, comments:
“We have focused our sales resources on where the largest media spending budgets are. The fact that only half of our clients were previously in these segments shows the untapped potential. That’s exactly where we’re now focusing – with sharper positioning, targeted access to key decision-makers, and a team that consistently invests in talent and is getting ever closer to customer needs.”

Kingfluencers is now a core part of the naoo ecosystem and enhances the platform with globally far-reaching influencer networks and a data-driven campaign logic. The foundation for further growth – both in Switzerland and across the German-speaking region – has thus been laid.
