Analysts expect over 2021 rising revenue E.ON, quite high dividend

Tomorrow E.ON will publish it's past quarters results. For this year E.ON 's (located in Essen) revenue will be around 66.44 billion euros. This is according to the average of the analysts' estimates. This is hugely more than 2020's revenue of 41 billion euros.

The analysts expect for 2021 a net profit of 1.58 billion euros. According to most of the analysts the company will have a profit per share for this book year of 61 cent. Based on this the price/earnings-ratio is 14.48.

Huge dividend E.ON

Per share the analysts are expecting a dividend of 48 cents per share. Thus the dividend yield equals 5.44 percent. The average dividend yield of the energy companies is a poor 1.49 percent.

Newest target prices around 10 euros

The most recent recommendations for the energy company are from UBS , Credit Suisse and Berenberg.

Based on the current number of shares E.ON 's market capitalization equals 19.13 billion euros. The E.ON stock was the past 12 months quite unstable. Since last March the stock is 17 percent higher. This year the stock price moved between 8 and 11 euro.
