Within the airline sector we see a low diversification of the 12-months returns. Since November last year the sector is around 20 percent lower. Among the winners we find United Continental Holdings, Dart and Spirit Airlines. Relatively big losses were for Flybe, Gama Aviation and Aeroflot-Rossiyskiye Avialinii PAO.
The megacaps in this sector are the winners. Among the less performing we see mostly the microcaps.
Regarding the price/earings-ratios we see a diversified palette. The microcaps are with the price/earnings-ratio of 236 the most expensive. The smallcaps are the cheapest and trade at 8 times the earnings per share. Air Partner, Wizz Air Holdings and Easyjet are the stocks with the highest ratios. Stocks with the lowest ratios are Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Turk Hava Yollari AO and Enter Air SA.
The sector's average dividend yield is with 1,2 percent relatively limited. Stocks with now high dividend yields are Aeroflot-Rossiyskiye Avialinii PAO, Aegean Airlines SA and Enter Air SA.
